Job summary

Trilogy Health Services seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work under a Physical Therapist in an interdisciplinary team. You will implement treatment plans, observe responses, educate patients and families, and support therapists in evaluating progress.

Requirements: Associate Degree, 0–1 year experience, current PTA license, CPR preferred. Travel up to 10% is possible. Competitive benefits and a supportive, development-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, valid state PTA licensure or certification.
• Current CPR certification, preferred.
• Travel: Yes. Minimally, as required (Typically less than 10%)

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities (e.g., heat, cold, electrical stimulation).
• Observes patient responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Observes and maintain up-to-date documentation related to patients' responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provides instructions to patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to support continued progress at home.
• Supports Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing additional observations and insights.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
