Job summary

Trilogy Health Services is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work under a Physical Therapist in a senior living environment. You will implement treatment plans, monitor patient responses, and document progress for ongoing care.

Requirements include an Associate Degree and a valid PTA license; CPR certification is preferred. Travel is typically less than 10%. Competitive benefits and weekly pay are highlighted by the employer.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current, valid state PTA licensure or certification.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as heat, cold, or electrical stimulation.
• Observes patient responses to therapy, documents progress, and reports findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of patients’ responses and progress and reports to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provides instructions to patients and families on exercises, safety precautions, and strategies to continue progress at home.
• Supports Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress with additional observations.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
