Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to implement plans of care under supervision, treating patients of all ages. The PTA will educate patients and families, document progress, and coordinate with the physical therapy team. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for qualified candidates.

The role requires an Associate's Degree and PTA licensure eligibility with BLS within 30 days. Experience with aquatic/therapeutic modalities and EMR documentation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant or equivalent.
• Licensed PTA eligibility and state licensure requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, family, caregivers, and other health care providers.
• Follows the therapist's plan of care and documents communication in daily notes.
• Completes therapy documentation per policy and participates in required annual trainings.
