Job summary

Southern Ohio Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant for the day shift. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will help patients develop, recover, and maintain mobility and function.

You will implement treatment plans, monitor progress, document responses, educate patients and families, and assist with discharge planning and adaptive equipment guidance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required, graduate of PTA program
• Licensed as Physical Therapist Assistant in the state
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services under supervision to develop, recover and maintain mobility/function
• Implement treatment plans using modalities as directed
• Monitor patient responses and adjust as needed
• Document services and patient progress
• Educate patient and family about deficits
• Assist with discharge planning and equipment guidance
