Job summary

PruittHealth Corporation is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for Home Health in North Carolina. The role involves providing PT services in patients' homes, following a care plan developed with supervising PT and interdisciplinary team.

Monday–Friday, with flexible daytime hours, and potential for career growth within our Home Health division. Candidates should be a graduate of an accredited PTA program, hold a valid state license, and have at least 2 years of therapy

Qualifications

• Must have a valid and unrestricted professional license in state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Foreign-trained applicants must have a substantially equivalent PTA education as determined by a credentials evaluation organization approved by the APTA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the plan of care within physician/patient goals and interdisciplinary input.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and manage the patient care plan.
• Demonstrate home care competency and the required patient care skills.
• Meet agency productivity standards and use time/resources efficiently.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately at the point of care.
• Assist the physical therapist in assessing patient function and disability.
• Maintain current licensure, certification, and clinical records per regulations.
• Support center surveys and required reports as needed.
• Report any suspected violations to supervision promptly.
• Self-direct, prioritize, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
