Job summary

Synchrony Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support ongoing patient care under the guidance of a Physical Therapist. You will implement treatment plans, monitor patient responses, and educate patients and families on exercises and safety techniques.

The role requires a PTA license and current CPR certification is preferred. Opportunities for growth exist within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment in Sumter, SC.

Qualifications

• PTA licensure required or (as per the note) must have and maintain a current, valid state PTA licensure
• Current CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including exercises and modalities.
• Observe patient responses to therapy, document progress, and report findings to the supervising PT.
• Observe and maintain up-to-date documentation related to patients’ responses to therapy.
• Provide instructions to patients and families on exercises and safety precautions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
