Job summary

Synchrony is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work under the direction of a Physical Therapist. You will provide therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment, following professional standards and the supervising PT’s guidance.

The role requires PTA licensure in the state and CPR certification, with responsibilities including implementing treatment plans, observing patient responses, and documenting progress to support patient care.

Qualifications

• PTA licensure or certification required and must be maintained.
• Current CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including exercises, manual therapy and modalities.
• Observe patient responses to therapy and document progress for the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of patient responses and progress.
• Instruct patients and families on exercises, safety, and home progress strategies.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
