Job summary

Synchrony is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide therapeutic interventions under a Physical Therapist's direction. The role supports an interdisciplinary care environment focused on patient progress and ethical standards.

You will implement treatment plans, monitor responses, and guide patients and families on exercise techniques and safety. Certification and licensure are required, with CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a current PTA license or certification.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Experience: 0–1 years.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities (heat, cold, e-stim).
• Observe patient responses to therapy, document progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Document patient responses and progress and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide instructions to patients and families on exercises, safety precautions, and home progress strategies.
• Support Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress with additional observations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
