Synchrony is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to work under the direction of a Physical Therapist in an interdisciplinary setting. You will implement treatment plans, assist with exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, and monitor patient progress.

This role emphasizes collaboration with nurses and therapists, documentation accuracy, and patient education to support home care and recovery. A PTA license and CPR are preferred; 0–1 year experience considered.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain state PTA licensure.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Education: PTA degree; Experience: 0–1 years.

Responsabilités

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Observe patient responses, document progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of patient progress.
• Provide instructions to patients and families on exercises and home safety.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Assist with evaluation of patient needs and progress; other duties as assigned.
