Job summary

St. Peters Rehab and Healthcare Center seeks a Certified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team. The PTA supports the Physical Therapist in implementing resident-specific treatment plans and delivering direct patient care.

The role emphasizes collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, documenting progress, and contributing to program development. We offer flexible hours, PTO, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Certified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct treatment to patients per plan of care.
• Detects signs of favorable/unfavorable reactions and reports to supervising PT.
• Documents all pertinent treatment information and need for skilled services.
• Maintains productivity and follows daily schedule.
• Attends and contributes to patient care plan meetings with the care team.
• Communicates patient response and progress to the supervising PT.
• Participates in program development and shares best practices with Rehab Team.
