Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide direct rehab care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will help patients achieve functional progress in a skilled nursing setting while adhering to Life Care standards.

The role requires graduation from an accredited PT program, active state license, and CPR certification. New grads are welcome; the facility offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (ASPT) and licensed in the state.
• Active CPR certification required at hire or during orientation.
• One year of experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and email.

Responsibilities

• Follow PT treatment plans under supervision of the licensed PT.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
