Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide direct rehab care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will work with a diverse patient population in a skilled nursing setting, delivering prescribed therapy plans and ensuring compassionate care within regulatory standards.

The position welcomes new grads and requires active state licensure, CPR certification, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT).
• Licensed/registered in the applicable State; active license in good standing.
• One (1) year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Follow physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software correctly and accurately.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Interact on an interdisciplinary team ensuring patient-centered care.
• Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information.
