Job summary

Life Care Centers of America seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide direct rehab services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in SNF settings. You will contribute to short-term and long-term patient goals within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited ASPT program, active state licensure, CPR certification, and a willingness to work with a diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT).
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Liaisons with patients, families, and departments to plan for patient needs.
• Demonstrates good body mechanics and safe patient handling.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to Life Care’s policies.
