Job summary

The Highlands-Life Care Center in Fitchburg, MA, part of Life Care Centers of America, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to provide direct rehabilitation under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care using state-of-the-art equipment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (ASPT).
• Currently licensed in Massachusetts and maintain active license.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification required by hire or during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Follow physical therapy treatment plans under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software accurately.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
• Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
• Communicate and function on an interdisciplinary team.
• Move and assist patients safely (sit/stand/bend/lift).
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
