Job summary

Post Rehab is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the therapy team at Eastern Star Home and Campus in Oriskany, NY. You will work under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists to deliver hands-on treatments that improve mobility and strength toward residents' rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative care team.
• New York PTA license is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed PT.
• Guide residents through strengthening, gait, balance, transfer, endurance and mobility activities.
• Follow established plans of care based on individual resident goals.
• Observe resident response to treatment and communicate progress to supervising PT.
• Reinforce therapeutic exercises and safe mobility techniques.
• Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation.
