Job summary

Gateway Post Acute in Porterville, CA is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team on a PRN, part-time basis. The PTA will assist the supervising Physical Therapist, implement treatment plans, document progress, and support residents in achieving mobility and independence in a skilled nursing/post-acute setting.

The role requires graduation from an accredited PTA program and an active California PTA license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• California PTA license in good standing required.
• Continuing education requirements per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist in direct patient care.
• Implement treatment plans and goals.
• Document daily treatment notes and patient progress.
