Job summary

Packers Staffing is hiring a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our partnered facility located in Burlington, WI. You will work with a growing therapy team to empower residents in activities of daily living and develop treatment plans with guidance from Physical Therapists.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of practice.
• Commitment to ongoing continuing education and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Conduct screenings of residents at regular intervals to determine the need for intervention/treatment.
• Assist in evaluations and help develop target lists with short-term and long-term goals.
• Assist in selecting PT techniques/media and adapt as indicated by resident performance.
• Monitor residents’ responses and discuss modifications with the Physical Therapist.
