Job summary

Packers Staffing is hiring a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our partnered facility in Manitowoc, WI. The PTA will work alongside our growing department of therapists empowering patients to participate in activities of daily living and help develop strategies and treatment plans to support patient growth.

This position is Part-Time with flexible scheduling or Per Diem/PRN. We offer competitive pay and opportunities for continuing education while maintaining CMS

Qualifications

• Associate degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of practice.
• Commitment to ongoing continuing education and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to residents under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Conduct screenings of residents to determine need for intervention/treatment.
• Identify indications for evaluations and assist in the evaluation.
• Assist in establishing and modifying resident schedules with the Physical Therapist.
• Carry out treatment plans including strength, mobility, balance, gait, and modalities.
