Napa Valley Care Center in Napa, CA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our rehabilitation team and help patients restore mobility and independence.

You will collaborate with Physical Therapists to implement treatments, guide therapeutic exercises, monitor progress, and document care in a modern, patient-centered setting. This full-time role offers competitive pay and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current California Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsabilidades

• Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and functional performance
• Assist patients with gait training, transfer training, mobility activities, and use of adaptive equipment
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and communicate progress to the Physical Therapist
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with facility, state, and federal requirements
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety precautions, and mobility techniques
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in care planning meetings and discharge planning as needed
• Ensure a safe, supportive, and motivating treatment environment
