Napa Valley Care Center in Napa, CA is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a full-time basis. Pay ranges from $45.00 to $58.00 per hour, with flexible scheduling options to meet staffing needs.

You will work closely with Physical Therapists to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and regain independence in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.

Qualificações

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Experience in a skilled nursing/rehabilitation setting is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises to improve strength, mobility, balance and endurance.
• Assist with gait training, transfers, and mobility activities.
• Monitor patient responses and communicate progress to the PT.
• Document accurately per facility and regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning as needed.
