Job summary

Napa Valley Care Center in Napa, CA is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. You will work with Physical Therapists to help patients improve mobility, restore function, reduce pain, and achieve independence in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.

This full-time position offers flexible scheduling and competitive hourly pay of $45.00–$58.00, with opportunities for growth in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current California PTA license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and functional performance.
• Assist patients with gait training, transfer training, mobility activities, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and communicate progress to the Physical Therapist.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with facility, state, and federal requirements.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety precautions, and mobility techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in care planning meetings and discharge planning as needed.
• Ensure a safe, supportive, and motivating treatment environment.

Join Our Rehabilitation Team

Napa Valley Care Center is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. In this role, you will work closely with Physical Therapists to help patients improve mobility, restore function, reduce pain, and achieve their highest level of independence.

What You'll Do
