Job summary

Aston Group is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing facility team in a full-time role, with potential PRN. You will support residents in rehabilitation, assist with mobility and independence, and collaborate with therapists and nursing staff.

Experience is beneficial but not required; new Graduates are welcome to apply. The position emphasizes patient-centered care and safety in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Complete an accredited PTA program.
• Current PTA license or certification in Florida.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents.
• Ability to collaborate with PTs, nursing staff, and care teams.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation principles and SNF guidelines (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Assist residents with mobility, gait training, transfers, and strengthening.
• Implement therapy plans tailored to resident needs.
• Monitor progress and document outcomes timely.
• Educate residents and families on home exercise programs.
• Maintain safe, clean therapy environment and equipment.
