Job summary

Coastal Community FCU in Houston is seeking a friendly Credit Union Teller to process member transactions, promote services, and provide accurate cash handling with integrity.

You will support member engagement by greeting members, completing transactions, and referring to member service representatives when appropriate. This role may involve educating on mobile banking options and requires a Saturday schedule.

As a Credit Union Teller, the responsibilities include processing member transitions, and overseeing cash

• Support member engagement by processing teller transactions and making appropriate introductions to member service representatives.
• Complete operational activities while minimizing risks under established policies
• Perform routine transactional, operational, and customer support tasks efficiently through knowledge of credit union procedures and products, as well as partners across the organization
• Receive directions from managers and exercises judgment within defined policies and procedures
• Escalate questions and issues to more experienced roles
• Interact with members and individuals to demonstrate care, build relationships, and complete requested transactions
• Identify information and services to meet members financial needs

Requirements

• Required Qualifications: 6+ months of interacting with customer/member experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, or training.

• Member service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
• Ability to educate and connect members to technology and share the value of mobile banking options
