Job summary

Coastal Community Federal Credit Union in Houston, TX is seeking a friendly Teller to support member engagement through teller transactions and warm introductions to service reps. The role requires handling cash, following policy-guided processes, and coordinating with teams to resolve member inquiries.

You will educate members on mobile banking options, follow all procedures, and prioritize accurate, efficient service in a fast-paced environment. Saturday availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of interacting with customer/member experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience or training.
• Cash handling experience.
• Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take action to prevent loss.
• Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Proficient in building and maintaining relationships with members and colleagues.
• Ability to educate and connect members to technology and mobile banking options.

• Receive directions from managers and exercises judgment within defined policies and procedures

• Interact with members and individuals to demonstrate care, build relationships, and complete requested transactions
• Identify information and services to meet members financial needs

Requirements

• Required Qualifications: 6+ months of interacting with customer/member experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, or training.
