Primary Purpose

This role involves bagging items at checkout, restocking, retrieving carts, cleaning, and maintaining the store environment. We serve communities across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and New Jersey, emphasizing inclusivity, care, courage, integrity, teamwork, and humor. Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
2. Collect and operate trash and compactor equipment.
3. Maintain cleanliness of floors and work areas, perform hourly clean sweeps.
4. Manage carts: collect, stack, and push them to the front of the store.
5. Demonstrate good customer service skills.
6. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand safety policies.
• Physical ability to perform job tasks, with or without accommodations.
• Ability to operate required equipment and tools.
• Meet performance standards, including attendance.
• Complete the probationary period (30 or 60 days).
• Adhere to safety protocols and dress code.
• Possess and maintain necessary licenses or permits.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts, variable based on needs.
• Job involves standing (55%) and walking (45%).
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Operate with static max pull of 20 lbs.
