Primary Purpose

This role involves bagging items at checkout, placing bags into carts, restocking returns, retrieving carts from the parking lot, vacuuming the front-end, restocking coolers, and collecting trash. We focus on building strong families and healthy communities across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and New Jersey. Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review the work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at the start of each shift.
2. Collect trash, operate the trash compactor.
3. Maintain cleanliness of floors and work areas, perform hourly cleanings.
4. Collect, stack, and push carts to the front-end of the store.
5. Demonstrate good customer service skills.
6. Complete any additional duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate required equipment and tools.
• Meet company performance standards, including attendance.
• Complete the probationary period (30 or 60 days).
• Perform all job functions safely.
• Wear proper clothing and shoes approved for the job.
• Maintain any required licenses, certificates, or permits.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts, variable based on business needs.
• Job involves continuous activity.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand approximately 55%, walk 45%, sit 0%.
• Category IV physical demands: lifting, carrying, pushing up to 50 lbs.
• Maximum static pull: 20 lbs.
