Primary Purpose

This role involves bagging items at checkout, restocking, retrieving carts, cleaning, and collecting trash. We serve communities across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and New Jersey, fostering an inclusive environment that values care, courage, integrity, teamwork, and humor. Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at shift start.
2. Collect trash, operate the trash compactor.
3. Maintain cleanliness of floors and work areas; perform hourly clean sweep.
4. Collect and organize carts, push them to the front of the store.
5. Demonstrate good customer service skills.
6. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand safety and company policies.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without accommodations.
• Learn to operate necessary equipment and tools.
• Meet performance standards, including attendance.
• Complete the introductory probationary period (30 or 60 days).
• Perform all job functions safely.
• Wear proper clothing and shoes as approved.
• Maintain any required licenses or permits.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts, depending on business needs.
• Job involves continual activity.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand approximately 55%, walk 45% of the time.
• Category IV: lifting, carrying, pushing up to 50 lbs.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.
