Primary Purpose

The main responsibilities include bagging items at checkout, placing bags into carts, restocking returns, retrieving carts from the parking lot, vacuuming the front end, restocking coolers, and collecting trash. Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review work schedule, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE requirements, and prepare for duties at shift start.
2. Collect and take trash to the compactor, operate the compactor.
3. Perform housekeeping duties, keep floors and work areas clean, and conduct hourly clean sweeps.
4. Collect, stack, and push carts back to the front of the store.
5. Demonstrate good customer service skills.
6. Complete other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand safety regulations and company policies.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to learn and operate necessary equipment and tools.
• Meet performance standards, including regular attendance.
• Complete the 30 or 60-day introductory period.
• Perform all job functions safely.
• Wear proper clothing and shoes approved for the job.
• Maintain any required licenses, certificates, or permits.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more based on business needs.
• Maximize job cycles continually.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
• Stand 55%, walk 45%, sit 0%.
• Category IV: lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
• Max pull static: 20 lbs.
