Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a part-time weekend security officer in Marquette, IA. Hours are 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays, totaling 24 hours per week at $15.75 per hour. Orientation, drug screening, and training require travel to Cedar Rapids.

Responsibilities include access control, scheduled rounds, and reporting any suspicious activity to the proper authorities. Applicants must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to obtain an Iowa security license.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record per company guidelines.
• Ability to obtain an Iowa security license with no disqualifying convictions; employer assists qualifying candidates.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must have the physical capacity to stand or walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform access control to the facility via doors and gates.
• Conduct scheduled rounds to ensure doors/windows/gates are secured.
• Report any suspected criminal activity to authorities.

Per Mar Security is seeking a part-time, weekend security officer in Marquette, IA. Hours are 6:00 am to 6:00 pm Saturday's and Sunday's.

24 hours per week at $15.75 hr.

Attention: As a condition of employment, you will be required to travel to our branch office in Cedar Rapids for orientation, drug screening, and/or training.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Have a valid driver's license, with a driving record that does not fall outside of company guidelines.
• The ability to obtain a security license for the State of Iowa, with no disqualifying criminal convictions. We assist those that qualify.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
