Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract at a 378-bed hospital specializing in orthopedic/elective joints, neurology, vascular, and general medical/surgical care. You will perform therapy evaluations, develop treatment plans, screen patients for eligibility, and provide discharge recommendations.

Requirements include an active Texas PT license, flexibility with scheduling and weekends, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PT license required.
• Willingness to work weekends and adapt to schedule changes.
• Preferred: Acute Care and ARU exposure; Meditech familiarity.

Shift: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at a 378-bed hospital that specializes in orthopedic/elective joints, neurology, vascular, and general medical/surgical care. The Physical Therapist will provide therapy evaluation and treatment, ensure proper patient screening for therapy services, and make appropriate patient discharge recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapy evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Perform patient screenings for eligibility and need for therapy services.
• Provide appropriate discharge recommendations for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have an up-to-date Texas therapy license.
• Flexible with changing schedules and willing to work on weekends.
• Fast learner and receptive to training.
• Preferred: Experience in Acute Care and ARU; familiarity with Meditech.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
