ARMStaffing in Indiana is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract in Fort Wayne. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and adjusting treatment plans, and guiding therapy services to promote return to community activities.

You will work 8 AM–5 PM with some weekend rotations, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, supervise students, and maintain documentation. Required licensure, BLS, and at least 2 years of experience; travel, housing, and meals support are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid and current State license as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant therapy setting; LTACH experience preferred.
• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.

Responsibilities

• Manage individual, concurrent, and group therapy sessions.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with patients' needs and physician direction. This role includes the delegation and direction of therapy services, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs to facilitate a return to community activities. The Physical Therapist serves as an educator to patients, families, students, coworkers, and self while upholding the organization's core values and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address barriers to discharge, including timely equipment trialing and patient training.
• Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions effectively based on patient care needs.
• Complete accurate and timely medical record documentation, including daily notes, goal writing, and discharge documentation.
• Participate in student programs as assigned, providing supervision and developing learning objectives.
• Engage in professional development activities, pursuing continuing education and self-study.
• Adhere to state practice acts and maintain professional licensure in good standing.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
