ARMStaffing seeks a Physical Therapist to join an acute care inpatient rehabilitation team for a 13-week contract. You will provide inpatient rehab services with emphasis on stroke, cardiac, and orthopedic recovery, working with a 1:2 patient load and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of acute care experience and CA licensure, plus ACLS/BCLS/NIHSS certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience.
• California PT license required.
• ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS certifications.
• Experience with stroke, cardiac and orthopedic rehab.

Physical Therapist - Acute Care Inpatient Rehabilitation

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule: 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM, Monday through Friday. May be required to work 3 weekend shifts every 6 weeks (Saturday or Sunday).

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will provide inpatient rehabilitation services with a focus on acute care. This role requires a strong background in acute care settings and trauma level II experience. The clinician will work independently with a 1:2 patient ratio, addressing various acute patient conditions including stroke rehabilitation, cardiac care, and orthopedic recovery.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients with acute conditions.
• Provide therapy interventions to facilitate recovery.
• Document patient progress using the Epic charting system.
• Assist patients with functional mobility and pain management techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience required.
• California Physical Therapist License required (may submit with license pending with proof of submission).
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS.
