Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in the Kansas area. The role involves evaluating and treating patients across multiple units, with 7:00/8:00 AM start times and 5x8-hour shifts, including some weekend coverage every six weeks.

Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, implementing interventions, documenting progress, and educating patients and families. Licensure in Kansas and Epic charting experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • Kansas PT license required at submission.
  • Experience with charting systems, preferably Epic.

Inpatient Physical Therapist
Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule, with hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. There are three weekend days required every six weeks.

Job Description

The Inpatient Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients across various units, including the Emergency Department, orthopedic/spine unit, rehabilitation unit, telemetry unit, and medical-surgical unit. The role emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary support and an evidence-based approach to patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapy interventions tailored to patients’ needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
