Vista Prairie Communities presently seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Vista Prairie at North Pointe, Assisted Living. The role emphasizes compassionate resident care, including bathing, grooming, mobility support, and medication administration in compliance with regulations.

This part-time, night-shift position offers shift differentials and a sign-on bonus. Candidates should have a CNA certification, 1 year of CNA experience, and familiarity with electronic health records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in long-term care preferred.
• Minimum of one year Certified Nursing Assistant experience required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification is required.
• Experience passing medications preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health records required.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and carry out directions required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care needs (e.g., bathing, grooming, hygiene)
• Support residents with mobility and transfers
• Administer medications as directed and in accordance with regulations
• Foster emotional well-being by creating positive, meaningful interactions
