Job summary

Vista Prairie Communities North Pointe is seeking a Resident Assistant to support residents in a long-term care setting. You will help with personal care, mobility, and daily activities, while fostering a warm, compassionate environment for residents and their families.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to care plans, and respectful, professional communication. Part-time NOC shifts with comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as RA in long-term care preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Training in health-related disciplines or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care needs (e.g., bathing, grooming, hygiene).
• Support residents with mobility and transfers.
• Administer medications as directed and in accordance with regulations.
• Foster emotional well-being by creating positive, meaningful interactions.
• Strive to bring joy and smiles to residents through daily care and support.
