Job summary

Glenncrest at Johns Creek is seeking a Medication Technician to support residents with compassionate care in a senior living community.

You will report health changes, ensure accurate medication management, and assist with dining and activities while maintaining records. Licensure required; CPR/First Aid preferred; weekend and holiday shifts available.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.
• Current Medication Technician License issued by the state.
• CPR/First Aid, preferred.
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report changes in resident health and complete daily progress sheets.
• Ensure medication management is accurate and compliant with standards.
• Explain medication dosage/pharmacology when needed; distribute medications and maintain records.
• Assist with dining as directed by leadership.
• Help keep residents engaged and happy through activities.

We are currently looking for a Medication Technician for Glenncrest at Johns Creek.

Primary Responsibilities of the Medication Technician:

• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assures medication management program is provided in an accurate, professional, and effective way according to The Blake standards and state regulations.
• Must understand and be able to provide explanation about the medication dosage/pharmacology when needed Distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Requirements
