Job summary

Glenncrest at Decatur in Decatur, GA is seeking a Medication Technician to record resident progress, distribute medications, and support dining and engagement activities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Reporting changes in the health and status of residents and completing daily data sheets.
• Ensure medication management is provided accurately and in line with state regulations.
• Explain medication dosages/pharmacology when needed and distribute prescribed medications.
• Assist with dining as needed.
• Assist with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.

Primary Responsibilities of the Medication Technician:

• Reporting changes in the health and status of the resident and completing daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assures medication management program is provided in an accurate, professional, and effective way according to The Blake standards and state regulations.
• Must understand and be able to provide explanation about the medication dosage/pharmacology when needed Distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.
