Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Medication Technician for Glenncrest at Decatur to support residents with daily medication administration and record-keeping. The role requires a current Medication Technician license, a HS diploma/GED, and a caring, service-minded approach.

Flexibility to work diverse shifts including weekends and holidays is needed; CPR/First Aid is preferred and experience with older adults is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Current Medication Technician license issued by the state.
• HS Diploma/GED required.
• CPR/First Aid, preferred.
• Available to work weekends/holidays.
• Experience with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report changes in the health and status of residents and complete daily data sheets to record progress.
• Assures medication management program is provided in an accurate, professional, and effective way according to The Blake standards and state regulations.
• Must understand and be able to provide explanation about the medication dosage/pharmacology when needed; distribute prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records.
• Assists with dining as needed or directed by leadership team.
• Assists with activities to keep residents engaged and happy.
