Job summary

Avante at Melbourne Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Laundry Aide to perform daily laundry duties, ensure clean linens, and support a safe, sanitary environment for residents.

Avante at Melbourne Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Laundry Aide to perform the day-to-day activities of the Laundry Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, and as may be directed by the Director of Housekeeping and Laundry Services and/or the Administrator, to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner and to ensure that an adequate supply of linen is on hand at all times to meet the needs of the residents.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Positive attitude toward the elderly.

Education and Experience:

• Must be a High School Graduate.
• Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred.
