Job summary

Avante at Orlando is seeking a Floor Tech to handle the daily tasks of the Maintenance Department and help keep the facility clean, safe, and comfortable for residents and staff. The role operates under the guidance of the Director of Facility Services and Administration, with background screening through the AHCA Clearinghouse.

Qualified applicants should be at least 18, have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to read and follow directions, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day activities of the Maintenance Department to keep the facility clean, safe and comfortable.
• Support compliance with federal, state and local standards as directed by the Director of Facility Services or Administrator.
• Assist in maintaining positive resident environments and safety throughout Avante at Orlando.

The newly renovate and newly opened Avante at Orlando Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Floor Tech to perform the day-to-day activities of the Maintenance Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards as may be directed by the Director of Facility Services and/or the Administrator to ensure the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of high school education or equivalency or otherwise show ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• Must speak and understand English
• Positive attitude toward the elderly.
