Job summary

Part‑Time Housekeeper/Laundry Aide Needed – Join Avante Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center!

Avante at Orlando Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Housekeeper/Laundry Aide to perform the day‑to‑day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards as directed by the Housekeeping/Laundry Services Supervisor and/or the Administrator to ensure the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner.

This position also performs the day‑to‑day activities of the Laundry Department as directed by the Director of Housekeeping and Laundry Services and/or the Administrator, ensuring the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner and that an adequate supply of linen is on hand at all times to meet residents’ needs.

Schedule: 7 a–3 p, Friday‑Monday

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Positive attitude toward the elderly.

Education and Experience:

• Must be a High School Graduate.
• Previous experience in Long Term Care preferred.
