Job summary

Avante at Melbourne is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team on a Resident Concierge path. You will assist residents with daily activities, coordinate care, and deliver friendly, personalized service.

Schedule is Tue-Sat 11am-7pm; daily pay available; we emphasize teamwork, strong communication, and a commitment to quality elder care. A AHCA background screen is required; prior customer service experience is a plus, and

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing.
• Experience in customer service is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read, interpret and write English.
• Positive attitude toward the elderly.

What we are looking for:

• Must have exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Must have excellent organizational and telephone skills
• Demonstrates the ability to communicate and work effectively with others
• Demonstrates ability to work with minimal supervision
• Attend appropriate education seminars (in-house and outside facility) on a regular basis
• Knowledge of Microsoft basic word, excel and internet skills
• Capable of reading, interpreting and writing English
• Positive attitude towards the elderly
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.)
• Must be team player

Education/Experience:

• High School Graduate
• At least one year’s experience in a customer service environment

Background Screening Requirement:

This position requires background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
