Job summary

Avante at Melbourne Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Part‑Time Floor Tech to support the daily operations of the Maintenance Department. The role ensures the facility is kept clean, safe and comfortable under the direction of the Director of Facility Services and/or the Administrator.

The ideal candidate is at least 18 years old, has a high school diploma or equivalent, can read and follow directions, and speaks English with a positive attitude toward the elderly.

Avante at Melbourne Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Floor Tech to perform the day‑to‑day activities of the Maintenance Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards as may be directed by the Director of Facility Services and/or the Administrator to ensure the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of high school education or equivalency or otherwise show ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• Must speak and understand English
• Positive attitude toward the elderly.
