Job summary

Manheim Central School District High School in Manheim, PA is seeking a Part-Time Custodian for our re-opened high school facility. The position runs on the second shift from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., with summer hours of 5-hour days and Fridays off.

You will perform cleaning, safety checks, and sanitation procedures to provide a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff. Starting date is To Be Determined; prior school or custodial experience is preferred, with a focus on maintaining

Job Description

The Manheim Central School District is currently seeking aPart-Time Custodian to join our team.

As a custodian, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our learners, staff, and community members at our newly rennovated High School.

Responsibilities:

• Performing regular facility care duties: You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the school building. This includes tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom maintenance.
• Ensuring a safe environment: You will contribute to the safety of our learners, staff, and community members by promptly addressing any potential hazards or concerns, such as spills, debris, or equipment malfunctions.
• Upholding sanitary standards: Your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining a hygienic environment. You will be responsible for disinfecting surfaces, restocking supplies, and following proper sanitation protocols.

• Part-Time, 12-Month Position
• Shift Hours:Second Shift:3 p.m.-7 p.m.; summer hours are 5-hour days with Fridays off.
