Job summary

Richcroft, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Weekend Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Harford County/Bush to provide hands-on care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role covers personal hygiene, outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking and cleaning.

Shifts are Saturdays and Sundays 3pm–11pm, every other weekend, with a rate of $23 per hour. The position involves assisting with community participation, developing independent living skills,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with fewer than 3 points on record.
• Must be able to transport people supported as needed.
• Some lifting and transferring may be required.
• Must have at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Must be at least 20 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist with participation and exploration of the community.
• Cultivate and expand independent living skills.
• Provide assistance with personal hygiene, activities/outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.
• Assist with the development of meaningful and personal relationships.
• Complete required documentation (e.g., incident reports, progress notes, behavior data, fire drills, etc.).
• Administer and record medications pursuant to State and Agency requirements, when applicable.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position is:

Saturday and Sunday 3pm - 11pm

Every Other Weekend

(working with women)

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting with participation and exploration of the community
• Cultivating and expanding independent living skills
• Provide assistance with personal hygiene, activities/ outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.
• Assisting with the development of meaningful and personal relationships

• Other duties as assigned

Regular Base Rate is $22/hr. There is an additional $1/hr. shift differential for weekend shifts. ($22 +$1=$23/hr.)
