Job summary

Richcroft, Inc. in Baltimore County, MD, seeks a Part-time Weekend Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide hands-on care for individuals with developmental disabilities. Duties include personal care, activities, outings, shopping, planning, cooking and cleaning, while fostering community participation.

The position runs Saturdays and Sundays 7am–8pm with every other weekend; pay is $23/hr with a $1 weekend differential and a $500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Current driver's license with <3 points.
• Able to transport individuals as needed.
• Some lifting and transferring may be required.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with community participation and exploration.

Rate of Pay $23/hr

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

$500.00 Sign-On Bonus !!!

We are seeking a Part‑TimeWeekend Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide hands‑on care to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities providing assistance with personal hygiene, activities/ outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.

This position is:

Saturday and Sunday 7am – 8pm

Every Other Weekend

(working with women)

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting with participation and exploration of the community
• Cultivating and expanding independent living skills
• Provide assistance with personal hygiene, activities/ outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.
• Assisting with the development of meaningful and personal relationships
• Administer and record medications pursuant to State and Agency requirements, when applicable
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or G.E.D preferred
• Current driver’s license (not provisional) with less than 3 points on driving record
• Must be able to transport people supported as needed
• Some lifting and transferring may be required
• Must have at least 2 years of Driving experience
• Must be at least 20 years of age

Regular Base Rate is $22/hr . There is an additional $1/hr. shift differential for weekend shifts. ($22 +$1=$23/hr.)

$500.00 Sign-On Bonus

Pay Out Structure:$250 – First Day; $250 – after three months

(You must remain in the designated position for the time intervals specified above to qualify for the bonus payout. Employees must complete all required onboarding and new hire trainings to be eligible for payout)
