Job summary

Richcroft is seeking a Part-Time Weekend Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide hands-on care to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities in Carroll County, Maryland. The role involves assisting with personal hygiene, activities and outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking and cleaning, and helping individuals develop independent living skills.

Shifts are Saturdays and Sundays from 8am to 8pm, every other weekend, with a base rate of $22/hour plus a

• Valid driver’s license with fewer than 3 points on record.
• Ability to transport people supported as needed.
• Some lifting and transferring may be required.

• Assist with personal hygiene, activities/outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking and cleaning.
• Assist in development of meaningful personal relationships.
• Administer and record medications as required by state/agency.

Carroll County/ Guadelupe

Rate of Pay $23/hr

We are seeking a Part-TimeWeekend Direct Support Professional (DSP)to provide hands-on care to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities providing assistance with personal hygiene, activities/ outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.

This position is:

Saturday and Sunday 8am – 8pm

Every Other Weekend

(working with women)

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting with participation and exploration of the community


• Cultivating and expanding independent living skills


• Provide assistance with personal hygiene, activities/ outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.


• Assisting with the development of meaningful and personal relationships


• Administer and record medications pursuant to State and Agency requirements, when applicable


• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Current driver’s license (not provisional) with less than 3 points on driving record

* Regular Base Rate is $22/hr. There is an additional $1/hr. shift differential for weekend shifts. ($22 +$1=$23/hr.)

** $500.00 Sign-On BonusPay Out Structure:$250 – First Day; $250 – after three months
