Job summary

WasteFree is seeking a Part-Time District Manager to lead a team of Collection Specialists. You will supervise, train, and audit communities, ensuring adherence to standards and schedules. This role requires a personal pickup truck, a valid license, and a smartphone with data plan.

The position involves night hours from 8:00pm to 1:00am, Sunday through Thursday, with additional duties during weekdays and occasional weekends. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Must own a pickup truck and have a valid license with insurance.
• Must have a smartphone with data plan and access to transportation.
• Must be currently employed full-time and able to manage part-time duties.
• Strong verbal communication and reliability in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Interview and train new Collection Specialist hires.
• Conduct audits on communities and report findings.
• Maintain daily attendance, logs, and nightly reports.
• Visit customer sites for service and address issues with staff.
• Coordinate with supervisor and monitor performance.

Part Time District Manager

WasteFree is looking for committed, trustworthy individuals interested in part-time management opportunities. The role of District Manager is crucial to the success of our business and requires that you display good leadership skills to the Collection Specialists that report to you. By giving support, encouragement, and leading by example, your team will be empowered to do their best work.

Requirements

• Previous supervisory experience (minimum 1 year)
• MUST have your own pickup truck for trash collection
• MUST have a valid state issued driver’s license and vehicle insurance with your name listed.
• MUST have a smartphone with a data plan.
• MUST have a full-time job.
• Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to complete work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in ALL weather conditions.
• Must be physically able to lift 50lbs and go up and down multiple flights of stairs, as well as walk distances.

Responsibilities

• Be prepared to work from 8:00pm to 1:00am Sunday through Thursday and as reasonably requested during regular business hours Monday through Friday and occasional weekends.
• Interviewing Collection Specialist candidates and training new hires.
• Conducting "audits" on your communities.
• Keeping up with call-ins/callouts and clock-ins/clock-outs.
• Collecting and reporting violation data and holding employees responsible for violations.
• Customer service site visits.
• Nightly correspondence with staff.
• Troubleshooting any issues that come up during service.Daily meeting(s) and/or phone call(s) with Supervisor
• Monitoring and Reporting Collection Specialists work.
• Conducting/Completing Property Profiles.
• Sunday afternoon check-ins with Employees.
• Submitting Nightly Report.
