Richcroft in Harford County, MD is seeking a Part Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide hands-on care and support for a young woman. The role focuses on personal hygiene, daily living skills, and community activities to increase independence.

Pay is $22/hr with a $1/hr weekend shift differential. Training including CPR/First Aid is provided, with opportunities for Med Tech Certification. Schedule offered is flexible within 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on care and assistance with personal hygiene, activities, outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking and cleaning.

• Engage in activities such as bowling, walking in parks, library visits, cooking, dining out and card games.
• Assist with community participation, independent living skills and developing meaningful relationships.
• Implement strategies to help individuals achieve personal goals.

Rate of Pay $22/hr*

We are seeking a Part Time Personal Supports (DSP) to provide hands‑on care to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities providing assistance with personal hygiene, activities/ outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.

Support a young woman in the Jarrettsville area with activities at home and in the community and home. Work on skills to increase independence at home and in the community. Activities include bowling, walking/hiking at parks, going to the library, working on cooking skills, eating out, and playing some card games.

Staff should be patient, respectful, trustworthy, and able to encourage and participate in living a fun and fulfilling life.

This position is: 20 hours/ week

or

Fri 4p-9p, Sat. 10a-8p (10 hours), and Sun 12p-5p

The schedule is subject to flexibility due to the needs of the individuals supported.

Some lift and transfer may be required.

Paid training, including CPR/First Aid, and opportunities to obtain Med Tech Certification!

DSPs assist with creating opportunities for individuals to live full and productive lives by:

Rate of pay *$22/hr.*

* Regular Base rate is $22/hr. There is an additional $1/hr. shift differential for weekend shifts. ($22 +$1=$23/hr.)
