Job summary

Richcroft is seeking a Full Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Baltimore County, MD. You will provide hands-on care, assist with daily living activities, and help the individual increase independence at home and in the community.

The role requires patience, respect, and trustworthiness. Training is provided, including CPR/First Aid, with a potential shift differential on weekends. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 4p–10p, for 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with <3 points on record.
• Experience with caregiving or related roles helpful.
• Willingness to complete paid training including CPR/First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene, outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking and cleaning.
• Support a young man in Nottingham area to build independence at home and in the community.

FT - Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Rate of Pay $22/hr*

We are seeking a Full Time Personal Supports (DSP) to provide hands‑on care to individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities providing assistance with personal hygiene, activities/ outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.

Support a young man in the Nottingham area with activities at home and in the community. Work on skills to increase independence at home and in the community.

Staff should be patient, respectful, trustworthy, and able to encourage and participate in living a fun and fulfilling life.

This position is:

M-F 4p-10p

40 hours

The schedule is subject to flexibility due to the needs of the individuals supported.

Some lift and transfer may be required.

Paid training, including CPR/First Aid, and opportunities to obtain Med Tech Certification!

DSPs assist with creating opportunities for individuals to live full and productive lives by:

Assisting with participation and exploration of the community

Cultivating and expanding independent living skills

Assisting with the development of meaningful and personal relationships

Implementing strategies to achieve individuals' personal goals.

Rate of pay *$22/hr.*

* Regular Base rate is $22/hr. There is an additional $1/hr. shift differential for weekend shifts. ($22 +$1=$23/hr.)
